Stephen Schmidt

Stephen Schmidt has a vast and impressive background in the fields of security, engineering, and law. Stephen currently holds the position of Chief Security Officer at Amazon, along with the title of Chief Information Security Officer at AWS. Prior to their time at Amazon, Stephen held various leadership roles at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and American Information Systems, Inc. In addition to their professional roles, Stephen has also served as Rescue Operations Captain at the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad since 2001. Stephen is a graduate of Haverford College and the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
