Stel De Vera

Stel is a Brand Designer on the team at Maze. She used Maze at her previous company and was so amazed at how well the product worked that she wanted to join. She really appreciates companies that value their design.

Before working at Maze, Stel worked as a Digital Designer and Illustrator at Canva. “Being a graphic design company, I learned so much about visually appealing designs from bad designs. I worked with tons of great designers, which trained my eye to see details that I probably wouldn’t have noticed before.”

While working at another company, Stel learned UX and user testing through a project she was working on and that’s how she learned about Maze.

“I think everything can be learned if you're determined to do so. I've gained new skills at work because I wanted to create and designs things that I've never done before. It's frustrating at first but rewarding once your learn it.”

To not be overworked, Stel has a routine that she tries to follow everyday. After work, Stel also plays video games or watches food vlogs.

Something that might surprise you and Stel is that she has a Spotify playlist with 2k followers. She sometimes even gets messages from artists about including their songs on her playlist, but so far she doesn’t add requests to the playlist.
