Rohit Prasad is a Senior Vice President and Head Scientist at Amazon, leading innovative research and development in Artificial General Intelligence and Alexa. With a background in Electrical Engineering and management education from MIT Sloan School, Rohit has directed groundbreaking AI projects for speech recognition, natural language understanding, dialog science, and machine learning. Prior to Amazon, Rohit held leadership roles at Raytheon BBN Technologies, overseeing multidisciplinary teams on government and commercial projects in speech-to-speech translation and other cutting-edge technologies.
