Elena Luchita (She/her)

Elena is the Manager of the Content & Brand Marketing function at Maze. Elena has been at Maze for over five years now and she credits the amazing culture Jo and Thomas have built for keeping her there so long.

“While Maze has grown a lot since I've joined, what has stayed the same is the feeling that you're working towards a meaningful mission, building something of value, and collaborating with great people while doing it. It's been amazing to see Maze grow so much as a company and have all these amazing people join us—and I couldn't be more grateful to be here!”

Elena values constant learning, whether that’s through reading, watching movies, traveling, or meeting new people. She has also found that this love for learning coincides perfectly with her work.

“As a Managing Editor, I have to dive into topics usually unknown to me to try to learn as much as possible to be able to create valuable and engaging content. One of the best ways to learn about a new topic fast is by interviewing expert people on the topic and making their expertise a key part of a piece of content. And this is what I've aimed to do with each piece we publish at Maze, thus in the process, getting to meet lots of new people and learning about various topics from design and research to product management and so on.”

Since Maze is a fully remote team, Elena has valued the opportunity to learn from each one of her teammates. One of her favorite things about working at Maze has been getting to meet such inspiring and incredible people from all over the world and learning what makes them unique.

Elena would welcome outreach to her about content marketing, including everything from writing and editing to managing the editorial process and working with freelance writers.

“I'm also a big fan of internet culture - both consuming and critiquing it so I love to talk about the latest TikTok trend but also how social media influences our societies, politics, and wellbeing.”
